Based in the county town of Hertford, it is the oldest of the Trust’s four hospital sites. The original hospital was built in the early 1800s and in 2003 work began on the development of a brand new hospital on the same site. The facility opened its doors to patients in November 2004. Private healthcare services including outpatients & diagnostics are available at Hertford County Hospital

Hertford County Hospital offers a variety of services from outpatient’s appointments to diagnostic tests. There are no inpatient services from this site, however you can see your consultant here and have your procedure carried out at the Lister Hospital.
